I made this video for my blog ( www.imageblock.tumblr.com ) a little while back. I don’t do a lot of pastel illustrations these days, as they take a lot of time. I do, however, enjoy the process of making giant pastel illustrations a great deal.

The Slumber Sketchbook

Imageblock Studio will be launching The Slumber Sketchbook later this fall. The Slumber Sketchbook is a collection of artwork produced throughout the long development journey for the children’s book Slumber. The book consists of a selections of final illustrations alongside initial, rough sketches and development pieces. Also included are the colorscript, unused layouts and a selection of character development artwork.
